Regular Services

We have church services on Sundays at 9.15 am. There is a Service of the Word on the first, second and fourth Sunday of the month, with communion on the third Sunday of the month. If there is a fifth Sunday then there is usually a joint service with Marks Tey. See Newsletters.

  • First Sunday 9.15 am Service of the Word
  • Second Sunday 9.15 am Service of the Word
  • Third Sunday 9.15 am Holy Communion (Common Worship)
  • Fourth Sunday 9.15 am Service of the Word
  • Fifth Sunday 9.15 am Joint service with Marks Tey (see newsletter for details)

You are very welcome to join us for worship at any of our services.

We generally follow the readings as set in the Lectionary in order to give breadth and continuity to the preaching and teaching themes, even at All-Age Worship. For all our services we use easy-to-follow booklets or special service sheets.

The Service of the Word follows a simple order, including space for a short meditation, and a more in-depth talk. It usually lasts about an hour.

Communion Services use the Common Worship order. We welcome visitors from any Christian denomination and if you normally take communion in your own church, please feel free to receive communion here.

Children are welcome at all our services. If parents would like to take their children to the Tower Room, they can still listen to the service.

There is a loop system for hearing-aid users.

Fairtrade coffee, tea and biscuits will be served after all 9.15 am services.
